- 'I prefer to buy traditional stuff, like food or art pieces. Accessories can be imported from anywhere in the world.'
- 'Yup. They are unique in every country and it just reflects their culture. Just like this Heart of the Ocean I got from Bali last year.'
- 'I do buy 1 or 2, and my friends know I like them, so everywhere they go, they buy me one.'
- 'Yes. I have glass beads from Europe and colorful strings from China. But my fav so far is the pearl necklace I got from Japan'.

Beads are a girls best friend
Remember when we were kids and our past times include sewing beads and threading them to make cute necklaces and ever so colorful bracelets? Well ... I don't think I ever grow out of them. Beading lets you have your own say in how you design your accessories. It lets you play with color and shapes. It lets you mix and match so much easier and its cheap!
So the next time you go to the store with your little girl, pick her up some beads for threading as it promotes her creativity. Who knows, you can get one box too and try your own hand and designing. And if you're too afraid of the loud colors, fret not, as it projects a colorful and more vibrant you.
Go crazy with beading. It can be to make accessories, decorate a plain blouse, put shine to your bags and even making a little handphone strap! Be creative and let me know your master piece too...

Show of importance
Ever been to a dinner to have the guests out shine the host? Ever went to a dinner and you approach the wrong 'host'? So how do you stand out from the crowd as if shouting I AM HERE! I AM HERE!
Now if you notice hard enough, the star of the night often wear a special band around their hand to symbolize 'IT'S ME! ITS ME!' Often times its a white flower, even during proms or annual dinners. I once had the privilege of making these special identifiers for someone's wedding. It was really sweet!
All the bridesmaids wore a maroon tube dress with this band. Simple and sweet. Everyone knew they were the best girls and I want to to enjoy just that too.
So here it is. Going at RM 8 or GBP 1.30. Do contact me if you want to order more for special events too.

Colours of innocence
Girls are made of rainbow colours and everything that is sweet, so the fairy tale says. So why shouldn't the pieces that we wear be sweet and dainty?
And nothing does it better than the colour of purity and innocence ... white. Have you ever wondered why princesses always wear white? This is why ... to project the beauty of grace. Add it with a touch of pastel shines, and you'll have the look of pure sweetness.
Ooh .. I need to water this down, its too sweet to handle.
Going for only RM 18 or GBP 2.80, this piece will make you the princess from within (WB 012).

70s fashion
Its back .. a blast from the past. Its true ... retro is really in.
And I believe that girls who partied at that time really had loads of fun. Dressing up, matching colors, searching for accessories and not to mention their wonderful poses for the camera. Look at her ... she's so well dressed. And come Fall 2008 .... the 70's is back again ... or it has alway been.

- Our girl is wearing big ear rings. The thicker the rim is, the more it highlights your pretty face. Go for striking colors to bring out the vibrancy in you. Or if wearing colorful and patterned clothes, go for subtle colors like white, black or grey.
- She is wearing a matching headband. Note that it doesn't have to be the same material as your clothes. There is nothing messier than hair in your face, so push it back up with one that is sweet and silky. Remember, choose the thickness of the bandbased on the size of your face.
- Notice her belt. Belts these days comes in all shapes and colors. You can wear one to dress up your boring ol' office clothes or one to give shape to a plain frock on your day out with the gang. Just make sure once again. Thinner belts if you are petite and thicker, if you are tall.

Which era?
Going down memory lane ... I have been planning for an annual event and was thinking of a theme. ... should it be 70's, 80's or 90's? Cool right ....? All girls and even some guys love dressing up, so we'll let the accessories decide. The 70's with beads and chains, or the 80's with bright colors and attractive shine or the 90's where its all simple and sweet?
Oh! decisions......
